Cat and her Ghosts

    Let me ask you a hypothetical question; Would you make a comic for someone else, with a story they wrote, but with a theme you didn't particularly like, if they paid you to do it?

      Okay I'm taking this completely hypothetical, if it isn't note me on DA and we'll chat, but the answer to your question.

      Depends on the themes, if the themes were something that morally I had a problem with say complete guro, then no I wouldn't do it, now I'll use gazza as an example here, if he asked me to make a comic based on pony play, I might depending on my time.
      I'm not interested in the topic but I don't have a problem with it.

      I wouldn't have a problem working on a story that someone else wrote, as I already did that with YmomY and the two latest MC's.

      Now the big question would I do all this if someone offered me money, despite the fact the money might be good, the amount to me would be the decider, because I would be putting my name on the comic.

      If someone said I want you to do a comic where people are continually getting slaughter in ever possible disturbing way, then most likely I wouldn't, I'm not a guro artist to start with and even thought my fans might grow, it could also destroy my reputation.

      But this is all guess work, I've never been approached like this so I can only speculate, it would also depend on my own resources, because if they wanted content I don't have or a quality I can't create then it might cause problems.

      But at the end of the day it would depend on my own moral standing, if I felt comfortable to make the comic and if it could damage my image.

      I just wanted to know what you'd do in that situation. Someone contacted me recently asking me to commission a comic they wrote. I just told them I wasn't willing to a huge project like that, of a theme I don't care for.
